Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kigali for a city tour.
On day 1 of the 4 Days Rwanda Safari /Leisure Safari, upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our guide who transfer you to your hotel in Kigali, enjoy a city tour of Kigali city by visiting Kimironko market where you will get to purchase souvenirs and the Genocide memorials like the Kigali genocide memorial museum to understand more about the Rwanda genocide and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Step Town Motel.
Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park and Ihema Boat Cruise.
On the 2nd day of the 4 Days Rwanda Safari /Leisure Safari, after breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your guide in Kigali to transfer to Akagera National Park where you will arrive in time to embark on an early morning game drive that will give you the chance to watch several game animals especially the herbivores like the elephants grazing within the plains, the rhinos, you will also get to see a number of remarkable views for the park and a number of rewarding attractions after your game drive you will be transferred to the lodge for lunch and refreshments and later on participate in the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will see a game like hippopotamuses, Crocodiles and many bird species like the endangered shoe bill stork, African Kingfishers catching their prey from the Lake that lives around the lake and the surrounding swamps. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Gisenyi
After your early morning experience, you will then make your way to proceed to Gisenyi city where you will have breakfast in the morning and then spend a full day in the town of Gisenyi. On this day you will have a boat cruise to the Island on the Lake and visit the shores of Lake Kivu for swimming. Day 4: Return to Kigali & Departure
