Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
You will be met by your driver guide at your agreed location in Kigali city to transfer to volcanoes national park where you will arrive in time to participate in Ibyi’wacu cultural village tour. Have a guided walk around the village at the different sites that exhibit the different aspects of the people of the village to have an insight into the interesting features of the culture of the people of Rwanda. You can also get the chance to visit the Musanze caves, which have rich cultural attributes that will give you the opportunity to understand more about the history of the people of Rwanda, The caves were used as coronation grounds for the Kings of Rwanda. Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Kigali
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel. Our guide will meet you after having your breakfast and your lunches packed, and he will take you to Kinigi Headquarters where you are expected to be given a brief before starting the gorilla trek. This brief is done at 7 am. You are given guidelines during this brief before you are allowed to start the trek. This gorilla trek can take to about 2 hours- 7 hours depending in the species which you will get to spend an hour with them observing a number of their rewarding features including how they go about their daily activities from watching the leaders of the group, the silverbacks who have all the mating rights with all the females of the group. After the safari experience, you will make your way to transfer back to Kigali city where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in the city.
