DAY 1: ARRIVAL, AND TRANSFER TO NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
At a location of your choice in Kigali city, you will be picked up by the driver from your hotel in Kigali and drive southwards to Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will have a stopover in Butare, where you will visit the National Museum of Rwanda, and the king’s palace in Nyanza with lunch en route. After the safari experience, make your way to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Hill View Hotel.
DAY 2: IGISHIGISHIGI TRAIL HIKE AND TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
Enjoy breakfast and, you will go on a walking trail in Nyungwe National Park through Uwinka Ridge. Where you will find a number of staircases that you can climb which will lead you to the flat area of the Buhoro trail and on the right junction, you will connect to the igishigishigi trail. At the trail, you will come across the canopy walkway where you can participate in the canopy walk in Rwanda where you will see the different bird species lining up on the metal lines of the bridge, different monkey species can also be seen swinging from different tree branches which will be amazing to see while on the walkway. After connecting to your guide who will transfer you back to Kigali city and the end of your 2 days igishigishigi trail in Nyungwe National Park.
